International designer Victoria Rangayah to present her empowering designs during London Fashion Week

The ‘A La Mode’ London Fashion Week September 2010 Catwalk welcomes another exhilarating addition to the fashion world. Gracing the catwalk will be design college graduate Victoria Rangayah’s beautifully crafted collection from her label Z-Mode.



Lithuanian born Rangayah spent five years living in South Africa and studying fashion at LISOF Fashion School. She went onto establish Z-Mode after working as a denim designer for a manufacturing company. Rangayah has participated in several fashion design competitions including Bridex and Bridal Africa which served as the platform for her to publicise her skills and talent. This led to her being nominated for the prestigious South African ‘Fashion Design Merchandise Award.’ Many of Rangayah’s creations have received exposure in international magazines including Elle, Style Plus (Lithuania) and LABB Fashion (UK).

Her passion for foreign culture, art and music are a strong design inspiration and Z-Mode is a true depiction of that. Inspired by the ‘rainbow nation’ Rangayah witnessed whilst living in South Africa, her designs are a concoction of interestingly opposite textures; “I like to make women feel feminine, elegant but at the same time empowered. Therefore I always try to keep the balance between strong lines and flowing silhouettes and ruffles…” The amalgamation of a feminine vibe expressed through masculine shapes is the essence of Rangayah’s label.

The ‘A La Mode’ Catwalk will take place at the lavish Charing Cross Hotel located on the Strand on Friday 17th September 2010, the first day of one of fashions’ most anticipated events; London Fashion Week 2010.

We are currently planning our September London Fashion Week Catwalk show where we will be welcoming designers Nikolo Bertok (UK), Berit Bert New York, Tom Lipop (London, as seen on Project Catwalk), Amato Couture (Dubai), Jonathan Liang (Malaysia) and Z-Mode(UK).

The event will take place at our luxurious venue of choice, The Charing Cross Hotel in Strand, just a few minutes walk from the official Somerset House on September 17th (First day of London Fashion Week). Please note once they are gone no further tickets will be allocated to members of the public.

Emerging Designer Nikolo Bertok to present his Luxurious designs during London Fashion Week

Following his brilliant success, outstanding emerging designer Nikolo Bertok will be showcasing his luxurious collection at the ‘A La Mode’ Catwalk show during London Fashion Week September 2010 .

Bertok is one of the most successful emerging fashion designers of today. Born in Bratislava, he grew up enjoying an education in the arts and became fascinated with fashion design in his early years after being inspired by his mother. At just 16 Bertok was already a serious fashion designer and within a year he single handedly produced his first fashion show with an impressive thirty-piece collection.

This young International designer has already been predicted as the “future Valentino” and been invited to participate in fashion shows all around the globe.

Bertok lives and works in London, currently studying for his second degree in Fashion and Design.

Returning for the 4th season, the ‘A La Mode’ Catwalk , hosted by LGN Events, will take place at the lavish Charing Cross Hotel located on the Strand on Friday 17th September 2010, the first day of one of fashions’ most anticipated events; London Fashion Week 2010.

Malaysia’s most promising fashion designer, Jonathan Liang, is heading to London….

Jonathan Liang, recently awarded with the prestigious title of “Most Promising Designer” during Malaysian Fashion Week, is set to storm into the UK with his latest womenswear collection to be shown at the “A La Mode” London Fashion Week show hosted by La Geneve North Events.

Liang, who has been soaring to success in the fashion industry since he graduated with his “I Ate an Orchid” collection, which also saw him win “Best Collection” for the Raffles International College Fashion Show, will be heading to London to exhibit his new Spring/Summer 2011 collection.

Fashion Label Berít New York to showcase at the ‘A La Mode’ Catwalk Show during London Fashion Week

Fashion Institute of Technology design graduate, Britney Frady-Williams will be gracing the ‘A La Mode’ Catwalk during London Fashion Week with her historically inspired pieces from her label Berít New York.



Based in New York, Britney uses rich fabrics and historical patterns and methods to create intricate, fascinating designs for her label ‘Berít New York’. Her work re-imagines everyday living and commonplace objects, envisioning the fantastic amidst the mundane. Noting how modern life seems deprived of the quality and wonder that has enriched humanity since its origin, Brit seeks to reawaken this old world charm for a new generation.

Her work has been featured in several prominent International magazines including Supermodels Unlimited, Bust magazine, Italian Marie Claire, the New York Times, Hue: the Alumni Magazine of FIT as well as other national and international press. Her work has also been filmed for music videos and international documentaries on sub-cultural fashion.

London Fashion Week Opportunity for Emerging and Independent Designers in September 2010

LGN Events ( www.lagenevenorthevents.co.uk ) will host the Fourth season of their Independent International London Fashion Week Catwalk show ‘A La Mode’ in September 2010.

Emerging and Independent designers will once again be able to present their collections to an audience of press, buyers, other fashion professionals and upscale consumers at the elegant and Cosmopolitan ‘Charing Cross Hotel’.

‘A La Mode’ has had three successful seasons and been featured in numerous prominent International publications. The high profile ‘A La Mode’ London Fashion Week event has rapidly established itself as a cost effective platform for select designers to reach out to key industry figures.
