Head to JANETROZZO.COM for a range of hand-designed Christmas decorations!

Popular homes and interiors website AlifeLessOrdinary changes name, but fans take heart!

Home and gardens accessories website alife-lessordinary.com has relaunched with a new name that will make the quirky and distinctive brand easier to find!

The site relaunched as JaneTrozzo.com after fans persuaded the inspiration and owner of the site – Jane Trozzo – the website’s name should reflect her individual flare for interior design.

To celebrate the re-launch, Jane Trozzo is launching an exclusive range of personally designed Christmas accessories, including a stylish Red Ruffle Heart.

Thousands of people have already transformed their homes and gardens with the help of the quirky website which sells distinct and unusual accessories that can’t be found on the high street.

Said Jane Trozzo: “We changed the name because some customers were kind enough to say ‘You should really name the site after yourself, because your style is so distinct’. My husband’s surname is Italian which gives the new brand an interesting twist. Also, I think people will be able to find the new site more easily, if I’m honest!”

“Designing some Christmas accessories seemed a logical progression from selecting inspiring and intriguing items from around the world. I’ve enjoyed making our Christmas items. My favourite is the Red Ruffle Heart, which is perfect for all year round!

Janetrozzo.com products are all made from natural materials including linen, jute, silk, lead, wood and flax – and are designed to suit all budgets.

The website offers everything from jute floor cushions and chunky kitchen jars to luxurious antique design lighting, Japanese rain chains and antique-effect sunflower mirrors.

Janetrozzo.com regularly supplies accessories for magazine and newspaper shoots and features stunning photography to profile the extensive range of products.

The new Jane Trozzo designed range of Christmas accessories(pictured), including pot pourie, garland, cinnamon sticks and a ruffle Christmas tree, is currently available on the site. The Red Ruffle Heart, made from felt, will be priced at £18.

“As Janetrozzo.com has grown, the people who shop with us have become more like friends than customers. Interior design is something I am passionate about and it’s a joy to share my love with others,” added Jane.

Argos’ Ace Must Haves!

So we attended the Argos press event where they showcased their best products for Christmas 2011.
In a cool quirky loft style building, Argos presented us with the coolest gadgets, the cutest soft toys, the chicest cosmetic brands all under one roof! There was definitely something for everyone- As we rushed upstairs to have a girly chat about our nails and makeup, there was also a young boy who was jumping with excitement over flying a giant fish!
So let’s begin with the giant fish in the room, which was definitely attention grabbing and even got us jumping for a while until we remembered we were in a professional environment. The Air Swimmer (£39.99), clown fish was an inflatable balloon with attachments that allowed you to fly it with a remote control. Seems really simple, (we didn’t crash it when we had a go! We flew it perfectly smoothly…) the remote control, battery is all included with the product all you have to do is add the helium and it lasts you up to 120 hours!
There were of course many boys toys, a section almost seemed like a man cave! Great gadgets with new ideas such as the iBuggy phone controlled car (£79.99) is a racing car that you control with your iPhone! How awesome is that!
Turning corners it seemed that we entered a young girls dream. Not only were there T-shirts with Justin Bieber printed on them (deep breath Bieber fans) but the cutest gadgets that we don’t see often enough aimed at young girls. There was the Fifi Friends Interactive gadget (£59.99), which is guaranteed to be a girl’s new best friend as well the exclusive range of Designa-Friends doll (£19.99). These dolls were the cutest, for which you buy outfits for; each outfit comes with a charm to add to your bracelet! The packaging of the outfits was so cute; they come in little boxes wrapped up in tissue paper…better than anything we’ve ever received!
Moving onto something on the same level of cuteness was the cookie monster! (Yay! We all love cookies!) With the cookie monster were these novelty cookies that you put in its mouth and then it munches them! Now we think this is bound to impress both the kids and their parents as it definitely impressed us!
So stepping away from classical, nostalgic products we came across the latest gadgets. Mostly tablets, but now not only for adults but for kids too! The Lexibook First Tablet (199.99) endorses great fun and learning. There was more fun to be had, Nintendo displayed their game tablet called UDraw Wii (£52.99), where you colour stencils or just spontaneously draw or play traditional games like Pictionary, which will definitely guarantee family fun on Christmas.
Finally we came across the cosmetics; there was a great display of Me Me Me products which were beautifully packaged. The collection seemed vast and really appropriate for what’s on trend. They had the cutest lip gloss called Light Me Up (£6.99), which literally lights up when you open it up! They had great individually packed products and collection which look so luxury. If you’re a fan of TOWIE’s Lydia, then you would like to know that she loves Me Me Me and even better…so do we!

Alluring Perfumes Galore!

The Perfume Shop Press Event that we attended was of course perfumes galore! We had truly walked up the stairway to heaven. Champagne, cupcakes and scattered diamonds (well not exactly real diamonds, diamantes, diamonds just sound more lavish!) All that was left was for us to spray away and whiff the sensual scents of the most luxury and divine perfumes there are to offer. Being surrounded by an array of fragrances we got scouting for the best scents, so here are some of the highlights.

Rihanna’s debut scent titled Reb’l Fleur is truly RiRi. The musky, fruity scent is as fun, feminine and edgy as the Barbadian beauty. The bottle is very glamorous with the colours black and gold keeping intact with the richness of the scent. You only have to turn it around to see that it’s actually a stiletto heel!
Next up we came across the macho Hugo Boss brand, where we were a little distracted by the giant print of Jered Leto fronting the newest scent Hugo Just Different. This scent is all about the urban and uber cool male with a smell of confidence. This particularly attractive display was accompanied by Hugo’s long running scents as they return in new packaging and vintage style flask bottles.

It seemed that we were in a farmers market at one point, DKNY fronted a fabulous display on charming food carts filled with delicious apples- being the fragrances and edible toffee apples! Keeping intact with the big apple theme, the apples continue to conquer the world with DKNY Golden Delicious and Delicious Candy Apples which are sure to lure us in The Perfume Shop. The scents are sweet and like no other, Delicious Candy Apples in particular are perfectly appropriate for this summer.

It was only a matter of time till crystal giant Swarovski would launch their debut perfume and Aura is all that one would expect from Swarovski, pure elegance and luxury. Aura is an aroma of incandescent, fruity and floral freshness made to perfection as the bottle is topped with a unique crystal, sure to be a keepsake and to add a touch of sparkle to your dressing table.

Thierry Mugler’s Angel returns with a star. The distinctively designed bottle takes form of a star which is enchanting and whimsical, almost nostalgic just creator Mugler described the idea of tenderness and childhood in his brand. Angel also has a great ecological approach as you can return to The Perfume Shop with your empty perfume bottle and get it refilled at a discounted price!
